Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using Aloha POS systems, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining a genuine interest in guest preferences
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety standards
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and providing personalized service
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to maintain a smooth operation
Requirements
- Proven experience in FULL DINING food service
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor and the ability to build guest rapport
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Familiarity with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations in the food industry
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts
