Job Summary
A startup autism treatment company is searching for an experienced BCBA/CAS to join the team. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Specialist be a member of our founding team. The ideal candidate will have years of experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, and will be skilled in providing high-quality patient care. The Autism Specialist will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans and programming.
Duties
- Conduct patient assessments to identify behavioral health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to promote behavioral changes and improve patient outcomes.
- Work with patients to improve behavioral skills, such as social skills, communication, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient care is comprehensive and coordinated.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Develop and implement strategies to address patient behavioral health needs, including crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
- Utilize behavioral health knowledge to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Experience
- Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices.
- Proven experience in patient assessment and treatment planning.
- Familiarity with medical documentation and medical records management.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and guidelines.
- Experience in patient care and behavioral health.
- Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
