Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial and industrial settings.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with all local and national electrical codes (NEC) during installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure timely project completion.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various work environments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience as an electrician in both industrial and commercial settings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
- Strong understanding of low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of construction practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
