Brand new hotel in growing Burnet, Texas! The Hotel General Manager (GM) leads all aspects of the hotel’s operations, ensuring financial success, guest satisfaction, and team development while upholding our mission, vision, and values. This hands-on leadership role requires a proactive, self-starting individual with 24/7 availability to ensure excellence across all departments. This is not a remote position, and the individual chosen will need to relocate.
Compensation: $70,000 + depending on experience.

Responsibilities:-
Oversee daily operations, including room bookings, event planning, and maintenance.

Manage budgets, maximize revenue, and maintain financial and statistical records.

Recruit, train, and mentor hotel staff, fostering a culture of growth and teamwork.

Inspect guest rooms and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with brand and company standards.

Be present on the property during shift changes to communicate priorities and support the team.
Qualifications:-

Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret business correspondence, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

At least 2 years of previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or department manager preferred.

Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Marriott Experience Required.
