Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders swiftly from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining a clean dining area to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of food trays and supplies while practicing safe lifting techniques.
- Support food preparation and kitchen operations by organizing dishes, utensils, and ingredients as needed.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Use POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately.
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; culinary or banquet experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent in-person customer service.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and basic food preparation techniques.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Experience working in hospitality settings like hotels or catering events is desirable.
- Demonstrated teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
