Private Housekeeper

Schedule: Flexible — must be available evenings, weekends, and overnight as needed
Pay: $28 - $35 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Private Housekeeper to maintain our home and provide dedicated care for our dogs. This is a hands-on, relationship-based position that requires someone who is genuinely passionate about animals and takes pride in keeping a home running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping
- General cleaning: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing
- Laundry, ironing, and linen changes
- Kitchen maintenance, including service and dish washing
- Organizing and tidying common areas and private spaces
- Errands, as needed
- Dog Care
- Feeding dogs on a set schedule
- Taking dogs outside for walks and bathroom breaks throughout the day
- Brushing, bathing, and basic grooming
- Coordinating and attending training sessions
- Monitoring dogs' health and behavior; reporting any concerns
- Providing overnight care when needed
Requirements
- Genuine love for dogs and comfort handling multiple dogs of varying sizes/breeds
- Reliable personal transportation (required)
- Flexible availability — evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights
- Previous housekeeping or pet care experience preferred
- Trustworthy, professional, and discreet — this is a private household
- Must pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other language) — strong plus
- Experience with dog training or obedience reinforcement
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
