Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Truck Driver to join our logistics team! Duties
- Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles with manual transmissions.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize time and fuel consumption.
- Load and unload freight safely using manual handling techniques, forklifts, or other equipment as needed.
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations when transporting dangerous goods or hazardous materials.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and readiness before each journey.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries, report issues, or delays promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driver roles.
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles and handling various cargo types such as freight, hazardous materials, or refrigerated goods.
- Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures for loading and unloading different types of freight.
- Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time navigation adjustments.
- Understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations to ensure compliance during all operations.
- Ability to operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts when necessary for cargo handling.
- Prior experience with tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
