Overview
We are seeking a Versatile and Well-Rounded Team Member. We are a Rodeo Company that puts on 4-5 Pro Rodeos throughout the year. You would need to help us set up the event, plow the ground, install banners and signs, etc. We also do basic ranch work to maintain the livestock (feed, fences, etc.). If you have sales skills, that may be utilized as well. On occasion, we also do Landscape Installations and Home Remodeling (I have done a lot of that in the past). We are based out of Dalton, GA and you will work there 95% of the time. You will be out of town installing advertising signage and returning to retrieve them. You will also be out of town 5-6 days the week of the rodeo (Out of town around 48 days per year or so).
#1. You MUST meet each of the following criteria:
- Be Productive (This requires working hard in all temperatures and weather)
- Be Reliable
- Be Trustworthy (We don’t deal with Liars or Thieves. Do what you say you’ll do. Trust is key)
- Be Dependable
- Be “On time” (When times are scheduled, you’ll need to honor the commitment and be “on time”)
- Be 100% drug free and able to pass drug tests randomly (This will not be up for discussion)
- Be willing to discuss your criminal history up front (we WILL do a background check)
- Perform general maintenance tasks (Ex. painting, basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs)
- Have excellent problem-solving skills
- Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Have Good communication skills
- Pay attention to detail and accuracy
- Have a Cell Phone
- Be a little tech savvy. We use apps on phone, video call, etc. from time to time.
- Be easy to get along with
- Have your own reliable transportation
- Have your own tool bag
- Have a clean driving record and valid driver's license
- Be able to pull trailers with a truck
- Be able to operate a Tractor and Skid loaders (i.e. bobcat)
- Have above average knowledge of auto mechanics (I don’t expect you to be able to tear out and replace an engine, but pretty close to that. Must be able to locate and repair problems. Brake jobs, Oil Changes, Injectors, Hubs, Etc.)
