Job Summary
We are seeking apprentice who wants to learn some woodworking skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in learning in various woodworking skills. This role involves custom wood windows and doors production including wood cutting, laminating, painting, sanding, and finishing; potential delivering and installing wood windows and doors to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Woodworker will work closely with other tradespeople and contribute to diverse projects ranging from residential renovations to commercial builds.
Duties
- Assist in wood windows and doors manufacture process, from raw material processing, wood cutting, laminating, to sanding, painting, finishing as a complete product .
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various woodworking tasks.
- Engage in fabrication processes including windows and doors installation, repair and maintenance.
- Drive to customer's jobsite, speak with customer to understand the needs, take measurements and provide an estimate.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools are properly stored after use.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills or experiences:
- No relevant experiences required and we provide all the necessary training on site.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
