Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Alarm Technician to join our team. In this role, you will take the lead on installing, servicing, and troubleshooting fire alarm and security systems. You’ll play a key part in protecting our clients’ properties by ensuring their systems operate safely, reliably, and up to code. This position combines technical expertise, problem-solving, and customer service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on work and working directly with clients.
What You’ll Do
- Install, program, and repair fire alarm and security systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Review blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to guide system layouts and installations.
- Conduct inspections on new and existing systems to confirm compliance with codes, safety regulations, and design specifications.
- Use CAD tools when needed to assist with system planning and layout.
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions on-site and implement effective solutions.
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of hand and power tools during installations and repairs.
- Work directly with customers to assess their needs and recommend system upgrades or new installations.
- Stay current with National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements and industry standards.
- Test, calibrate, and service sensors, panels, and other system components to maximize performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, or repairing alarm systems 5 Years Experience or more preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with prior experience in construction or a related trade.
- Knowledge of fire sprinkler systems is a plus.
- Comfort with customer-facing responsibilities, including recommending products or services.
- Ability to work independently in the field while also collaborating effectively with a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
