Ross Dress for Less Grand Forks, ND is growing! We are looking for our next Assistant Manager - Operations.
In this role you report directly to the Store Manager, and will manage the Operations of the Store.
These areas include:
- Hiring / Staffing / Training
- Cash Office Team
- Stock Room and Truck Team
- Front End / Cashier Team
- Scheduling / Supplies / Facilities and Janitorial
You will supervise three hourly department managers (Area Supervisors) in their roles to execute the Ross merchandising standards as well as create an engaging shopping experience for our customers.
In the absence of the Store Manager you will be the Senior Manager in the building covering for vacations, training weeks, etc. You may be asked to cover lower volume stores as the acting Store Manager during your developmental roles. In this capacity you will report to the District Manager.
This is a developmental role, with the goal of you being ready to take on a Store Manager position within 9-18 months.
