Overview
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Screen Print Belt Catcher, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our printing processes. This position offers an energetic environment focused on precision, safety, and efficiency. As a Belt Catcher, you will be responsible for accurately catching and handling printed materials from the conveyor belt, maintaining high-quality standards, and supporting the overall production flow. Your attention to detail will contribute to delivering exceptional products in compliance with industry regulations.
Duties
- Safely monitor conveyor system to catch printed materials during the screen printing process. Remove shirts from the dryer belt. Fold and package shirts according to purchase order
- Ensure proper handling of materials, including heavy lifting ( must be able to lift 45 pounds) and materials handling equipment operation, to prevent damage and ensure quality. Check prints for quality issues or flaws
- Assist with assembly tasks related to packaging and production line setup. Such as but not limited to counting in the items, checking shirt colors and styles compared to the given purchase order, contacting reps if items are missing or damaged from the supplier
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to safety standards in production environments
- Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Sort incoming UPS/Fedex packages into their designated locations
- Other duties can include cleaning on production area/washing squeegee
- This job requires individual to stand for 6 to 8 hours a day
