Safro Solutions Appliance Repair is looking for an experienced Appliance Repair Technician to work with us as an independent 1099 subcontractor.
We are looking for a reliable technician who can handle residential appliance repair service calls in the Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley area. The technician must have their own vehicle, tools, phone, and experience diagnosing and repairing major household appliances.
This is not a W-2 employee position. This is an independent contractor / subcontractor opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair residential appliances
- Service refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, cooktops, and microwaves
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Provide clear diagnostic findings, photos, and repair recommendations
- Collect required job information, including model and serial numbers
- Complete accepted service calls in a professional and timely manner
- Follow service standards and customer communication guidelines
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of appliance repair experience preferred
- Must have your own tools
- Must have your own reliable vehicle
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have active auto insurance
- Must be reliable, professional, and customer-service oriented
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be available for 1099 subcontractor work
- EPA 608 certification is a plus for sealed system / refrigeration work
- General liability insurance is preferred
- Appliance service registration, business license, or contractor license is a plus
Compensation:
- 1099 subcontractor position
- Pay range: $35 - $65 per hour, depending on experience and job type
- Pay may also be based on completed service calls or repair jobs
- High earning potential for experienced technicians
- Job volume may vary based on customer demand and contractor availability
Schedule:
Flexible schedule. Technicians may accept or decline offered service calls based on availability.
