The Area Director will report directly to the Chief Performance Officer and serve as the primary onsite representative of Fractal’s ownership group. They are responsible for leading the implementation of initiatives and strategies defined by FEG executives.
Key responsibilities include the following:
● Leadership:
- Dynamic presence on behalf of Fractal Education Group
- Maintain professional standards
- Ensure licensing compliance
- Manage onsite administration
- Coordinate onsite central services
- Oversee site level projects
- Maintain facilities and contractors
- Develop loyalty through building a strong and warm culture
- Serve as the primary point of contact to Fractal’s Central Services division which supports the schools (education, marketing, programming, technology, human resources, training, food services, training and finance).
● Financial:
- Overall responsibility for each school’s performance
- Execute strategies for enrollment targets by department
- Develop Key Performance Indicators and manage against them to drive outcomes
- Develop operating budgets for approval
- Manage labor and other expenses against budgets
● People & Community
- Develop and cultivate a unique identity at each of the schools
- Attract talent fitting the schools’ respective identities
- Build team and community relationships
- Originate social programming with assistance and support of central services;
- Develop and execute community programming
● Reporting
- Maintain Playground Reporting
- Track P&L reporting and conduct reconciliations
- Provide recurring reporting to the CEO and Fractal ownership
Key attributes of a qualified candidate would include the following:
- Leadership skills
- Ability to “lean in” to problems and issues to develop solutions and drive outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized with attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2+ years experience in operational leadership (General Manager, Regional Manager, Operations Manager, etc.) in a dynamic environment
- Experience with income statements, budgeting and forecasting
- Experience driving performance based on budget goals
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Suite

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
