Overview:
Join our team as a Frozen Yogurt Team Member and be part of a fun and dynamic work environment. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role also includes hands-on food preparation, including working with dough and preparing our signature chimney dog products.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve frozen yogurt and toppings to customers
- Make and handle dough, including shaping and wrapping chimney dough around hot dogs
- Prepare and bake chimney dog products to company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including the yogurt machines, prep area, toppings bar, and dining area
- Assist customers in choosing flavors, toppings, and completing their orders
- Handle cash transactions and operate the register
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of products
- Upsell products and promote special offers to customers
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is a plus
- Experience working with dough or baking is preferred (highly valued for this role)
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Willingness to learn about different yogurt flavors, toppings, and products
- Ability to follow recipes and food preparation procedures consistently
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.25 - $22.00 per hour
