JOB SUMMARY
The NATIONAL ACCOUNTS MANAGER (NAM) – PHYSCIAL SECURITY plays a vital role in supporting key accounts, driving new business, and delivering customized technical solutions across diverse market segments. This position serves as a trusted advisor to clients and partners, providing expert consultation and compelling presentations that showcase SecureConnect’s security and network offerings. Working closely with the sales team, the NAM helps shape strategic proposals, supports implementation planning, and ensures technical alignment with customer needs. The NAM tracks sales activity identifies opportunities for innovation, and maintains a consistent commitment to client success and operational excellence.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. KEY ACCOUNT SUPPORT & RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Provide technical support and consultation to key accounts, building long-term relationships with customers and partners to serve as their trusted advisor and advocate for SecureConnect solutions.
2. NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities within various market segments including commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors. Leverage product knowledge and industry insights to present value-driven solutions.
3. SALES COLLABORATION & STRATEGY: Partner with Connect Service Solutions sales team to align technical expertise with strategic sales goals. Collaborate on proposals, product positioning, and overall solutions development to meet customer needs.
4. TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS PRESENTATION: Deliver compelling product demonstrations and virtual/in-person presentations tailored to client needs. Clearly communicate the technical value and differentiators of SecureConnects security and network solutions.
5. INDUSTRY & PRODUCT EXPERTISE: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physical security systems, including access control and IP surveillance technologies. Serve as a resource for technical questions and implementation planning.
6. SALES ACTIVITY MANAGEMENT: Accurately track and manage sales activities using Salesforce, ensuring consistent documentation and visibility into sales effort, progress, and outcomes.
7. CLIENT-FOCUSED INNOVATION: Understand customer pain points and emerging needs, offering innovative solutions that align with their operational goals while supporting SecureConnect’s mission of excellence and reliability.
8. PERFORMS OTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
EQUIPMENT OPERATED:
General office equipment (fax machine, copier, phone, scanner, laptop)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of physical security technologies, including IP surveillance systems and access control solutions

Knowledge of security industry regulations and standards

Knowledge of technical sales processes, including discovery, proposal development, and solution presentation

Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems for sales activity tracking and pipeline management

Knowledge of market segments including commercial, institutional, and industrial environments

Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, partners, and stakeholders

Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities through solution-oriented sales strategies

Ability to deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations in person and virtually

Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical drawings

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, engineering or experience equivalent
Five (5) years of experience in sales of Physical Security systems (IP surveillance system, access control systems) etc.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of Sandler Sales Training
Industry recognized certifications such as Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM), Physical Security Professional (PSP), etc.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Must pass a criminal background check

WORK CONDITIONS:
Works in a heated and cooled office environment.
Ability to travel 50% for client meetings, site visits, and in-person presentations.
