American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience and a NH or compact RN license.

18-bed combined unit consisting of 4 PICU beds, 3 Step Down beds, and 11 pediatric med/surg beds

Day/night rotation, 36 hours per week

Patient acuity ranges from med/surg floor level (Level 1), to Level 2 (Q2h interventions, BiPAP), to critical care (Level 3)

Travel RNs may care for fewer critical care patients due to census fluctuations and may float to the ICN or cover pediatric med/surg patients when PICU census is low

Active NH or compact RN license required

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Level 1 Trauma or comparable Level 2 Trauma setting

2 manager references required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Flexibility to care for patients across varying acuity levels, including pediatric med/surg and step-down, depending on census
