Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the TOAST POS system efficiently for order taking and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure all food safety standards are met.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Stay knowledgeable about menu items, including seasonal offerings and promotions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food service or café industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with TOAST POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic understanding of retail math for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to handle food preparation tasks safely and efficiently.
- A passion for coffee and knowledge of different brewing methods is highly desirable.

Pay: $19.53 - $30.00 per hour
