Orivon Advisory Group is seeking an aggressive, highly motivated, self-directed Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition specifically for the firm's accounting services.
This is a quota-carrying sales position.
The successful candidate will be expected to aggressively develop the market, identify prospective clients, build professional referral relationships, attend business and professional events, conduct face-to-face meetings, present Orivon's accounting solutions, and consistently convert opportunities into signed engagements.
This individual cannot depend solely on inbound leads, company-generated appointments, or existing relationships.
We are looking for a hunter—someone who creates opportunities rather than waits for them.
The Business Development Manager must be comfortable initiating conversations, opening doors, asking for meetings, requesting referrals, pursuing decision-makers, following up persistently, handling objections, asking for the business, and closing transactions.
Meeting monthly sales quota is a fundamental requirement of this position.
Activity without measurable revenue performance will not constitute success.
PRIMARY MISSION
The Business Development Manager has one overriding mission:
Consistently generate new accounting revenue for Orivon Advisory Group.
The individual will be expected to:
- Develop new business every month.
- Maintain and exceed an established monthly sales quota.
- Build and manage an active sales pipeline.
- Generate qualified opportunities independently.
- Develop referral channels.
- Convert prospects into recurring accounting clients.
- Expand Orivon's presence within the business community.
- Create predictable, repeatable revenue growth.
MONTHLY SALES QUOTA
The Business Development Manager will be assigned a clearly defined monthly new-business revenue quota.
Meeting quota is a core condition of successful performance in this role.
Performance will be evaluated on:
- New accounting clients closed
- New monthly recurring revenue
- New annual contract value
- Collected revenue generated
- Qualified sales opportunities created
- Proposal-to-close conversion rate
- Pipeline coverage
- Client quality
- Referral-channel productivity
The Business Development Manager is expected to maintain sufficient pipeline coverage to support achievement of monthly sales goals.
Falling below quota will require a documented corrective sales plan, increased pipeline activity, and measurable improvement.
Repeated failure to achieve established sales expectations may result in formal performance management.
This is a results-driven position.

The candidate wants to win and is motivated by measurable sales results.
Goal-Oriented
The candidate understands quotas, targets, conversion rates, pipeline metrics, and revenue expectations.

Relationship-Driven
The candidate understands that professional-services sales are built on credibility and trust.

The candidate consistently manages CRM activity, follow-ups, meetings, proposals, and pipeline.
Resilient
The candidate can hear "no," recover quickly, learn, and continue pursuing opportunities.
Closers' Mentality
The candidate knows that networking is not the objective.
Closing business is.
