About the Role
Eleos Behavior Care is seeking a compassionate ABA Therapist (Paraprofessional, Behavior Technician, or Registered Behavior Technician) to join our team. This is a part-time, in-person role based in Manhattan, NY, providing 1:1 ABA support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism.
You will implement individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) while receiving ongoing support, supervision, and guidance from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA treatment plans developed by a supervising BCBA
- Collect accurate session data to track client progress and support treatment decisions
- Maintain accurate session notes and client documentation in compliance with confidentiality and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and professionals to support comprehensive care
- Support clients in developing daily living, communication, and social skills
- Collaborate with families and the clinical team to promote consistency across sessions
- Uphold client confidentiality and professional standards at all times
Qualifications
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (autism experience strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis related to behavioral interventions
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families and team members
- Reliability, professionalism, and commitment to evidence-based care
- High school diploma required; college coursework in psychology, education, or related field preferred
