What You'll Do
- Provide expert perioperative nursing care utilizing the nursing process in the OR setting
- Operate and assist with Da Vinci XI surgical robot procedures as a circulator
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams, physicians, and ancillary staff effectively
- Manage and prioritize patient care activities in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory and safety standards
- Document all care and procedures accurately and thoroughly
- Support unit goals for quality, safety, and patient satisfaction
What You Need
Required:
- Current RN license in Louisiana
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- 2+ years of OR/surgical experience, including Da Vinci XI robot experience
- Circulator experience; scrub experience not required
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a surgical setting
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with confidential patient information and regulatory standards
