We are seeking a dynamic, responsible, hard working individual to join our team as an Assistant in a fast-paced salon environment. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and gain valuable hands-on experience in the beauty industry. Competitive pay considering cash tip nature of position.
Responsibilities
- Assist stylists and technicians with various tasks to ensure smooth salon operations
- Support with hair styling and hair coloring as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of salon stations and common areas
- Assist with retail sales, including product recommendations and upselling techniques
Experience
- Prior experience in a salon or beauty environment is required
- Knowledge of cosmetology basics is beneficial
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach
- Ability to multitask in a busy setting
- Willingness to learn and grow in the beauty industry
