Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble dishes according to restaurant standards, ensuring quality and presentation are top-notch
- Plate food efficiently to maintain high service speeds during busy hours
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely delivery of meals
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, garnishing, and portioning ingredients to support smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and assisting with guest needs when necessary
- Uphold excellent customer service by engaging positively with guests and responding to special requests or dietary needs
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food handling safety, and sanitation procedures
- Experience working in banquet settings or hotel kitchens is a plus
