Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across various manufacturing, industrial and residential environments. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of electrical components, supporting the overall efficiency and safety of our operations. Duties
- Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, systems, and equipment using hand tools and testing devices such as multimeters.
- Perform root cause analysis on electrical failures to identify underlying issues and implement effective solutions.
- Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical drawings created with AutoCAD.
- Maintain, repair and install programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Assist in project scheduling for electrical upgrades or installations to ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with customers to integrate electrical systems into larger machinery using mechanical knowledge and schematic diagrams aligned with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
Skills
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and their design.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD for creating schematics and layouts.
- Experience with residential, commercial and industrial wiring.
- Skilled in debugging complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools including meggers and multimeters.
- Knowledge of programming PLCs and scripting for automation control systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes involving electrical wiring, equipment repair, and maintenance routines.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with electrical experience to troubleshoot integrated systems effectively.
- Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and schematics related to electrical wiring or mechanical assemblies.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
