Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong background in mechanical systems, including hydraulics and electrical systems, as well as excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients regarding their equipment needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, including tractor-trailers.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Conduct inspections.
- Tire experience
- Air brake diagnosis and repairs
- Hvac diagnosis and repairs
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in fleet maintenance.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in vehicle repair are a plus.
