This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to take AI concepts and turn them into secure, scalable, production-ready solutions. You will work across engineering, product, technology, and business teams to deploy AI-powered applications, autonomous agents, automations, integrations, and AI-assisted development workflows.
The ideal candidate combines strong engineering judgment with practical experience implementing generative AI and agentic technologies. This person will help determine what is production-ready, establish the operational framework around AI deployments, measure performance, and ensure solutions deliver measurable business value.
This is not simply an AI strategy position. You will be responsible for making AI initiatives work in the real world.
What You'll DoAI Solution Delivery
- Own the technical execution of AI initiatives from requirements and kickoff through production deployment.
- Translate business and technical requirements into working AI solutions, including agents, automations, integrations, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Partner closely with engineering, product, technology, and business stakeholders to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and processes.
- Serve as a technical leader and primary execution resource for enterprise AI initiatives.
- Evaluate technical feasibility, implementation approaches, risks, and production readiness.
AI Agent Operations & Engineering

- Design and optimize agent workflows, prompts, integrations, tools, permissions, and operating parameters.
- Coordinate workflows between autonomous agents and human engineering resources.
- Determine when AI-generated work requires escalation, review, or direct engineering intervention.
- Continuously evaluate emerging AI platforms, development tools, models, and agentic technologies.
- Recommend new technologies and approaches that can improve engineering productivity or business outcomes.
Quality Assurance & AI Evaluation
- Develop evaluation frameworks for measuring AI solution performance.
- Monitor accuracy, reliability, latency, completion rates, hallucination rates, and other quality metrics.
- Perform QA and technical review of AI-generated code and other AI-produced deliverables before production deployment.
- Diagnose performance issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Continuously improve AI configurations, workflows, prompts, and agent behavior based on production performance and stakeholder feedback.
AI Governance, Security & Program Health
- Establish technical guardrails and operating standards for responsible AI deployment.
- Maintain appropriate governance controls, permissions, monitoring, and audit trails.
- Ensure AI solutions comply with organizational security, data handling, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Track and communicate AI program metrics including delivery velocity, output quality, utilization, reliability, and business impact.
- Serve as an internal technical subject matter expert on AI implementation, helping teams understand what is possible, what is production-ready, and where risks exist.

- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML engineering, solutions engineering, platform engineering, solutions architecture, or technical program leadership.
- Hands-on experience implementing generative AI solutions or AI-assisted development technologies.
- Experience with platforms or tools such as OpenAI, Azure AI, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or comparable technologies.
- Strong technical depth with the ability to evaluate AI-generated output, troubleshoot implementations, and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Understanding of generative AI evaluation methodologies, including accuracy, reliability, hallucination rates, latency, and output quality.
- Experience taking technical initiatives from requirements through development, testing, and production deployment.
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, automation, or enterprise technology platforms.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across both technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment with significant ownership and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
