Personal Care Attendant (PCA) – Assisted Living | Up to $18/hr
Pay: Up to $18/hour
Location: New Hampshire
Contract: 9 -13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Evening Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to provide high-quality care and support to residents in an assisted living setting. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient-focused, and committed to helping residents maintain their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing and grooming
- Help with dressing and hygiene
- Support mobility and transfers
- Assist with meals and feeding
- Take and document vital signs
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Observe and report changes in condition
- Assist with toileting and incontinence care
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Follow resident care plans
- Communicate with the care team
- Ensure resident comfort and dignity
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous PCA or caregiving experience preferred
- Assisted living or long-term care experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassionate and dependable
- Ability to lift and assist residents safely
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass background screening (if required)
