Our client, a manufacturing company located on Long Island is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team
What you will do in this role:
· Responsible for performing troubleshooting, repair work and preventative maintenance on all production machinery, equipment and instrumentation to sustain plant operations at highly efficient levels. Equipment includes mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and fluid handling systems.
· Perform packaging equipment setup and changeover including fine tuning and necessary adjustment.
· Perform non-certified welding and simple machining operations as needed for repair and maintenance tasks.
What you will bring to the role:
· 2+ years of experience in packaging and process equipment line maintenance of machinery in food or beverage manufacturing facility.
· PC literate, email and calendar outlook use.
· Knowledge of production line packaging and filling equipment.
