As a member of the HUGO BOSS Human Resources team, the Benefits Coordinator, Distribution Center serves as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and supports the administration of health and welfare programs, leave of absence cases, and workers’ compensation.
What you can expect:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and provide guidance on benefit programs
- Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, retirement, FSA, HSA, and ancillary benefits
- Maintain accurate benefits and leave records in HRIS and benefits administration systems
- Conduct regular audits of benefits, leave, and HRIS data to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
- Participate in new hire orientation sessions and educate employees regarding benefit offerings and enrollment procedures
- Partner with vendors, brokers, and carriers to resolve claim escalations and ensure timely claim processing
- Maintain required benefits documentation and assist with regulatory reporting and compliance activities, including ACA, COBRA, and annual benefits audits.
- Assist Benefits Manager with employee wellbeing program initiatives and Total Rewards programs
- Support open enrollment activities, distribution of employee communications, and benefits education sessions
- Support the administration of FMLA, ADA, disability and other leave programs in partnership with our third-party administrator Guardian
- Responsible for the life cycle of leave cases; track and manage leave of absence cases, ensuring timely updates and compliance with federal and state regulations
- Coordinate return-to-work processes with managers
- Provide administration and case management support on Workers Compensation claims in the Distribution Center and work in close partnership with the Benefits Manager and HR Manager, DC.
- Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate deductions, benefit contributions, leave payments, and employee status updates
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, and workers’ compensation regulations
- Assist Sr. Director, Total Rewards with ad-hoc HR and Benefits projects and initiatives (i.e. Sustainability Reporting)
Your profile:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, with experience in benefits administration, HR Operations, or leave management
- Working knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations including FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and ERISA
- Experience working with HRIS and benefits administration systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, ADP)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Intermediate Excel experience preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Demonstrates sound judgement and discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively with competing deadlines.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Have a problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization.
