As an Adoption Social Worker/Program Manager you can make an immediate and lasting impression in the lives of birth/expectant parents, families and infants by supporting them before, during and after placement. Responsibilities:
Assess, train, educate and provide support to pregnant women who are making a plan of adoption for their unborn baby.
Compliance with all laws and regulations governing adoption agencies including state and federal laws and regulations as well as the Agency Policy.
Oversee the Adoption Program in the Las Vegas office. Provide community outreach services and develop and maintain relationships with community partners. This role serves as a key representative of the organization.
Develop and implement community outreach strategies to increase awareness of the organization's services.
Provide services so to meet the needs of the client with the highest of professional standards of human services practice and Agency standards as specified, and per designated timelines under the direction and supervision of Agency staff.
Coordinate services with attorneys, hospitals, medical providers and other professionals involved in the adoption process.
Respond to client inquiries and provide information regarding agency services.
Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive client information in accordance with agency policies.
Qualifications:
Required-Must Have:
- A Bachelors or Master's degree in Social Work (Master's preferred)
- Two years' experience in adoption or Child Welfare specifically
- Nevada Social Work License in good standing
- Dependable Transportation
- Willingness to flex schedule and duties based on the needs of the client
- Nevada Driver’s License in good standing
- An ability to work alone and under pressure, as well as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal, counseling, conflict resolution and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time, flexible schedule and availability to work daytime hours as well as evenings and weekends. Can be remote at times.
