We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced full-time Barista to join our vibrant café team! Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Toast POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards across the café, including food preparation areas
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic retail math
- Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
- Support food handling and food safety protocols during food preparation and serving processes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage customization
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for seamless transaction processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation standards
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to sales, cash handling, and retail math confidently
- Previous experience in the food industry or café environment is highly preferred
