Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Construction Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage all financial record-keeping activities related to construction projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Your expertise will help maintain the financial health of our projects by overseeing bookkeeping functions, reconciling accounts, and supporting budget management. Duties
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
Reconcile vendor accounts regularly.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Process invoices. Must be familiar with AIA billing.
Maintain organized records for audits and reporting.
Communicate with vendors, clients, and team members regarding financial matters.
Process weekly payroll for approximately 50 employees through ADP.
Maintain PTO accruals for all employees up to date.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms; experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles .
- Knowledge of public accounting standards and GAAP regulations relevant to construction bookkeeping.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
