Job Description
Staffing Strategies is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team supporting healthcare facilities in the Columbus, Indiana area. This PRN opportunity offers a flexible schedule with the potential to work up to full-time hours based on your availability and facility needs.
This position provides the opportunity to work in a variety of rehabilitation settings, including skilled nursing, inpatient rehabilitation, and hospital-based care, while making a meaningful impact on patients working toward greater independence.

Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve patients' functional abilities and independence.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, upper extremity function, and adaptive techniques.
- Document patient progress accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and safety techniques.
- Maintain compliance with all facility, state, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current Indiana COTA license in good standing.
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, hospital, or post-acute care preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and patient care skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned service area.
