American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical Surgical unit position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Medical Surgical unit in an inpatient hospital setting

Day shift schedule (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) on an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule

Shifts are 3x12 hours one week and 4x12 hours the next

Active TX RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required

Prior travel nursing experience required

2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana — a positive result will result in immediate cancellation with no exceptions

Candidates should avoid all substances that could result in a positive drug screen prior to and upon arrival, including CBD products
