Join a well-established private practice pain management clinic in Winston-Salem, NC offering a supportive environment, consistent weekday hours, and hands-on clinical experience. We are actively hiring a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CNA) and welcome entry-level candidates and new graduates.
Job Description
As a Medical Assistant in our pain management office, you will work closely with providers to support patient care from intake through treatment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, compassionate candidate eager to grow in a specialty practice. This role may include C-ARM Fluoroscopy which company will provide training for.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and record vital signs, histories, and pain levels
- Prepare patients for exams and interventional procedures
- Assist providers during office visits and treatments
- Administer injections, draw labs, and perform EKGs (as permitted)
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and procedure areas
- Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals
- Assist with prior authorizations and prescription coordination
- Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control guidelines
Qualifications
Required:
- Current CMA, RMA, or CNA certification
- Completion of an accredited MA or CNA program
- CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to work full-time in Winston Salem, NC
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, or primary care
- EMR experience
- Prior outpatient clinical experience
