We are a modern sushi restaurant located in the vibrant Lower East Side of New York, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Service Server to join our team. As a Service Server, you will play a key role in providing exceptional dining experiences by delivering high-quality service to our guests. You will be responsible for ensuring that guests receive prompt, professional service and enjoy their time in our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Provide detailed menu knowledge, make recommendations, and answer any guest questions about our sushi and beverage offerings.
- Take orders accurately and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner.
- Ensure that tables are clean, set up properly, and well-maintained during service.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Handle guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Uphold the restaurant’s cleanliness and organization standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant setting, preferably in sushi or Japanese cuisine.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for customer service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Legal right to work in the U.S.
