Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. The Cashier will ensure a positive customer experience while handling cash, credit, and other forms of payment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers entering establishments
- Process all transactions accurately and efficiently
- Operate point-of-sale system and handle cash transactions
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Keep reports of transactions
Experience:
- Proven working experience as a Cashier
- Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g., cash register, scanners)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Customer satisfaction-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Sales or retail math experience is a plus
- Knowledge of upselling techniques is advantageous
- Proficiency in Spanish or Hindi
- Proficiency in English is required
- Experience with cash handling procedures
