Position Overview
We’re looking for a responsible, customer-focused Bakery Cashier who’s comfortable taking on a variety of tasks. This position involves more than front-of-house service—you’ll assist with product preparation, maintain cleanliness, and support daily bakery operations.
Primary Duties
- Welcome guests, take orders, and manage cash transactions without the use of a POS system
- Handle money accurately and provide correct change
- Assist with bread prep, including icing, slicing, and arranging items for display
- Keep the front counter stocked, tidy, and organized
- Wash dishes and maintain clean work areas
- Participate in opening and closing routines as needed
Qualifications
- Strong basic math skills and confidence with cash handling
- Willing to help with food prep and routine cleaning tasks
- Dependable, on time, and attentive to detail
- Positive attitude and respectful communication with team members and customers
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
