Hope in the Valley is looking for a compassionate and motivated Addiction Counselor / Social Worker to join our clinical team. If you're passionate about helping individuals overcome substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based practices.
- Complete clinical assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with medical, nursing, and case management staff.
- Assist with discharge planning and aftercare coordination.
- Help create a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment for clients.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field.
- Active Colorado license or credential (LAC, CAC, LSW, LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPCC, LMFT, LMHC, or equivalent).
Preferred:
- Experience working in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or a related clinical setting.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment approaches.
