American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level II Trauma, Magnet-status acute care hospital, requiring Epic Stork experience and a minimum of 2 years of L&D nursing experience.

Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a 431-bed short-term acute care hospital
-
Level II Trauma Center with Magnet designation
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
Patient ratio of 1:2 with an average daily census of approximately 5 deliveries
-
Every other weekend required
-
No on-call requirements
-
Floating within scope required, primarily to MBU or NICU as needed
-
Local candidates are accepted
-
Charting via Epic (Epic Stork experience specifically required)

Specialized equipment includes Triton for quantitative blood loss (AI technology), Surgicount, and Monica Novii
-
Scrub color: navy blue
-
Active VA RN license or valid Compact RN license currently in hand

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
-
AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring or Relias Fetal Heart Rate certification required (facility can provide access to FHR training prior to start for confirmed travelers)

Epic Stork experience required

Fetal heart monitoring (FHM) experience required

Ability to circulate required

Scrubbing and OB assist skills preferred

13-week travel contract
