Residential HVAC Installer (Contractor)
Hulse Heating & Air is a quality-focused HVAC company currently expanding operations throughout Orange County, California.
We are currently seeking experienced residential HVAC installers and install-focused technicians interested in long-term alignment with a growing company focused on professionalism, clean workmanship, efficiency, and strong customer experience from day one.
This position is best suited for installers who take pride in the quality of their work, communicate professionally, work efficiently within a team environment, and are looking for consistent project opportunities while maintaining flexibility and independence.
Our primary focus is residential HVAC installation and system replacements, while also maintaining the capability to handle light commercial and broader HVAC opportunities as operations continue expanding throughout the Orange County area.
Responsibilities:
- Complete residential HVAC system installations and change-outs
- Replace condensers, furnaces, coils, package units, and related equipment
- Perform duct modifications and installation-related adjustments when needed
- Maintain clean and professional job sites
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
- Ensure quality workmanship and proper system operation
- Assist with troubleshooting and installation support when needed
- Follow installation standards and safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Residential HVAC install experience preferred
- EPA Certification preferred
- Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems
- Ability to work independently and within a crew environment
- Professional communication and appearance
- Valid driver’s license
- Own tools preferred
- Install leadership experience is a plus
- Light commercial HVAC experience is beneficial but not required
Preferred Experience:
- Residential system change-outs
- Split systems
- Heat pumps
- Package units
- Duct modifications
- Attic and crawlspace installations
- Rooftop units
- Basic troubleshooting and startup verification
Compensation:
$35–55/hour equivalent earning potential based on experience, efficiency, project volume, and overall scope of work.
