Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Utilize educational technology tools and learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement.
- Monitor student progress regularly through assessments, standardized testing, and performance data analysis to tailor instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and parents to support students with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services.
- Incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education activities, and library services into daily lessons to promote well-rounded development.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance data, attendance, and behavioral observations in compliance with educational regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience teaching young children in an elementary school setting, preferably with classroom experience in schools.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and special education strategies including working with individuals with autism.
- Excellent communication skills for effective mentoring of students, collaboration with staff, and engagement with parents.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating educational technology into lessons.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and individual student needs.
- Experience working with standardized testing procedures and student performance data analysis to inform instruction.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management best practices to create a safe learning environment.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
