Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of lobby areas, including floors, furniture, windows, and fixtures to ensure a pristine environment.
- Handle various chemical agents safely for cleaning tasks, adhering strictly to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures.
- Conduct manual handling of cleaning equipment and supplies, including heavy lifting when necessary for moving furniture or supplies.
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Follow hotel housekeeping management protocols to ensure guest areas are maintained according to brand standards.
- Respond promptly to any hotel emergency procedures, ensuring guest safety and security during overnight hours.
- Utilize custodial experience and janitorial expertise to manage routine cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, industrial cleaning, or janitorial roles within hospitality or similar environments.
- Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices and hotel experience preferred.
- Familiarity with chemical agent handling and safety data sheets (SDS) to ensure safe use of cleaning products.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely during floor care or supply movement tasks.
- Strong understanding of hotel emergency procedures to respond effectively in urgent situations.
- Excellent custodial skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Experience with hotel housekeeping management or hospitality operations is highly desirable.
