Taylor Devices, located in North Tonawanda, NY, is a leading designer and manufacturer of seismic and wind dampers, and a range of hydro-mechanical energy management products. We are currently looking to add an 2nd shift Assembler Technician to our team, working on Aerospace, Structural and Industrial hardware. Key Job Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety policies and procedures and raise any concerns.
- Assemble aerospace products, shock absorbers and hydraulic components following written instructions, drawings, diagrams and schematics to ensure work is performed according to specifications.
- Ensure products meet designed requirements by performing tasks with a quality first mindset and attention to detail, looking for potential discrepancies.
- Operate calibrated equipment, gages, hand tools, power tools and production tools.
- Clean components, assemblies and ensure a FOD free environment.
- Package finished products to prepare for shipment.
- Complete Daily 5S tasks and clean as you go (shovel, sweep, or otherwise clean work areas)
- Maintain production equipment and tools.
Skills & Experience:
- HS diploma or GED required
- Experience operating gages, hand tools, power tools and production tools required
- Excellent assembly skills and willingness to work with small/large parts
- Must possess problem-solving, strong interpersonal and teaming skills
- Previous Assembly experience preferred.
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour*
*The base pay range represents the low and high end of the Taylor Devices pay range for this position. Actual rate will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and performance.
