We are seeking an Information Technology Instructor to join our academic team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Facilitate classroom instruction, ensuring a positive learning environment for all students.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress and manage course materials.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student understanding and provide constructive feedback.
- Research and integrate current educational practices and technologies into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices.
- Provide library services support, guiding students in utilizing resources effectively.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding academic progress and concerns.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complex concepts.
- Proficiency in relevant technologies, programming languages, and/or IT methodologies
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage a diverse group of learners
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly.
- Experience in curriculum development, particularly for adult language education programs.
- Familiarity with learning technology tools that enhance classroom instruction.
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that accommodates diverse learning needs.
- Knowledge of university-level teaching practices is preferred but not required.
- Experience in classroom management techniques to foster student engagement and participation.
