We are seeking an experienced Medical Office Scheduler to join our growing vascular surgery practice. This is a fast-paced, high-volume position that requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while providing outstanding patient service.
The ideal candidate is experienced in scheduling for multiple providers, proficient in Epic, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Schedule office appointments, diagnostic testing, and follow-up visits for 22 vascular surgeons across multiple clinic locations.
- Coordinate provider schedules while following physician-specific scheduling protocols.
- Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and appointment details.
- Answer incoming calls professionally and assist patients with scheduling, cancellations, and general appointment inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, medical assistants, hospitals, and referring offices to ensure accurate and timely scheduling.
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts while maximizing provider efficiency.
- Cross-train and assist with other front office responsibilities as needed.
- Travel between clinic locations and provide coverage for other positions when operational needs require.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of medical scheduling experience in a multi-provider physician practice.
- Required experience using Epic.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and telephone skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, flexible, and a team-oriented attitude.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between clinic locations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a surgical or specialty medical practice.
- Experience scheduling diagnostic testing, imaging, or surgical patients.
- Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorization processes.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
