Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Clear and clean tables promptly to maintain a tidy dining area, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages swiftly from the kitchen to the dining tables, adhering to safety and food handling standards.
- Support in setting up dining areas before service begins and resetting tables after guests leave.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, dishes, or supplies using safe lifting practices to prevent injury.
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, floors, and dining areas through regular cleaning duties.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely food running and guest service.
- Support in food preparation or replenishing supplies as needed, always following food safety protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of food handling and safety standards.
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests, team members, and management.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy when assisting servers.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest satisfaction.
- Basic cleaning skills to uphold hygiene standards throughout the restaurant.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and food preparation practices within a hospitality setting.

Pay: From $15.92 per hour
