Perform a wide variety of less complex duties to repair and service pools and equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Work from service orders, verbal instructions and manuals to remove, repair and install pool equipment and pool systems. Instruct customer to operate pool equipment, maintain quality pool conditions or to explain pool services.

Repair concrete, covers, skimmers, vacuum and pumps.

Replace filters, sand, valves, pipes or hoses.

Clean pools and equipment.
-
Install drains and new skimmers.
-
Following prescribed procedures to open or close pools for seasonal use.

Drive company vehicle to customer sites and deliver materials and supplies.

Assist other employees with installations, large repairs and heavy equipment.

Maintain adequate supply of parts and materials for assigned calls.

Write reports and records of service calls, parts used and time spent for billing purposes.
- Use, as authorized, hand and power tools, company vehicle, and other department equipment.

Observe all company rules including safety, quality, and clean work areas.

Complete or assist with any and all company duties as requested
Secondary Responsibilities

Perform other duties as requested of necessary to meet business conditions.

Simple use of equipment and service manuals, where interpretation is required.

High School Graduate or general education degree (GED); over one year, up to and including three years related experience and /or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have the ability to read and write the English language

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Use of some judgment to comply with pool service for repairs and maintenance involving the making of minor decisions.

Person must have/maintain a valid PA driver’s license.

Safety Sensitive position due to driving company vehicle and use of chemicals
