Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Water Mitigation Technician to join our team. This role involves responding to water damage, fire restoration, mold remediation, and other restoration projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry and possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Respond promptly to water damage, fire restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement projects.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform restoration tasks.
- Conduct water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes using specialized equipment.
- Perform cleaning duties including carpet cleaning and general surface sanitation.
- Assist with demolition, construction, and repair work as needed during restoration projects.
- Utilize knowledge of mold remediation techniques and asbestos abatement procedures when applicable.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout each project.
- Document project progress and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Requirements
- Prior experience in the restoration industry is highly preferred, especially in water damage restoration, fire restoration, or mold remediation.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, carpet cleaning, asbestos abatement, and use of hand tools and power tools.
- Experience with construction or general building repair is a plus.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting heavy equipment or materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different project requirements. This role is essential in helping clients recover from property damages efficiently while ensuring safety and quality standards are met at every stage of the restoration process.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
