- Apply hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and perform hair threading to enhance client looks.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring a sterile environment for every client.
- Use salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail sales tracking.
- Provide expert consultations on hair care routines, product recommendations, and upselling retail items to maximize client satisfaction.
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and supporting store management tasks.
- Mentor junior team members in hair styling techniques, sanitation protocols, and customer service excellence.
- Stay current with industry trends in makeup application, nail care, barbering techniques like straight razor shaves, and retail math for effective upselling strategies.
<Experience>
- Proven experience as a hairstylist and colorist with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and color work.
- Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and sales management.
- Skilled in various hair coloring techniques including balayage, highlights, lowlights, and corrective color applications based on solid color theory understanding.
- Experience performing hair extensions installation and eyelash extension application preferred.
- Familiarity with barbering tools like straight razors and threading techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients confidently while providing personalized recommendations.
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards within a professional salon environment.
- Ability to manage retail sales effectively through upselling techniques while maintaining high levels of customer service.
